Hold the windows key (looks like a flag on the keyboard) and press r

in the runbox type services.msc and press enter

Double click Apple Mobile Device in the list

Change the startup type to automatic

press Apply

then press Start

Close Itunes and Re-open

1.Turn off the phone


2. Open iTunes


3. Press and hold the home button, plug in the usb cable, continue holding home until you get to see the recovery mode


4. iTunes should allow you to choose restore the phone

Have you tried a different cable or different USB port on the computer?

Try holding the Home button and the Sleep wake button at the same time for 15 seconds, continue holding it after it says "Slide to Power off", release it when the apple logo appears

  • Disconnect the USB cable from your iPhone, but leave the other side connected to your Mac or PC

  • Launch iTunes

  • Press and hold down the Home and Sleep/Power button on the top of the iPhone to turn off the iPhone

  • Press and continue to hold the Home button while you reconnect the USB cable to your iPhone, this will cause the iPhone to turn on

  • Continue to hold the Home button until an alert message in iTunes informing you that an iPhone in recovery mode has been detected, like the screenshot below:
