Verizon is email provider.

high speed cable internet is what we have.
The message on the screen says the following. 'A copy has been placed in your Outbox. No password XXXXX Please go to mail account settings and enter a password.' I did that.
Have you tried removing and re-adding the mail account in your iPad?
yes. I reconnected and redid settings in itune and created a new one. the account before this one was not receiving or sending. At least nowit is sending.
