I am Vinod. I will try my best to help you resolve this issue.

Which password do you mean? The password to gain access to the home page on your ipod? or the password for the apple id?

Thank You
Customer: replied 5 years ago.

The passcode to get access to the ipod home page. The message I have on my Ipod is 'passcode disabled'.

My daughter put in a 4 digit passcode and forgot what it is. So now we can't use the Ipod.

Sorry to hear that...:( unfortunately, the only solution is to restore it to factory settings

Open iTunes in the computer and connect the iPod. Now, on the iPod, press and hold the power button and the home button together until you see an apple logo. The very moment you see the apple, let go off the power button, but keep on holding the home button for another 10-15 sec. Your computer should now give a message that it has detected an iPod in recovery mode and needs to be restored.

Restore the iPod now and finally select the option "set up as a new iPod".

Let me know if you have any difficulty.
