Customer Question

Within the last few days, there are certain websites that I used to use which I can no longer open. I get an error message "cannot find server" This only occurs on my Mac G4 OS X 10.4.11. I have an Intel MAC Mini running 10.5 which can access these websites without problem. What could be wrong?

Hello and thanks for using

Just to clarify, Most websites work fine but these certain ones do not work?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Correct. Your website works fine, most do. There are a few,,, and that used to work but now do not. On the Intel mac mini I have, these all work fine. And on the PC I use at work they also work fine.

If you still run into issues try a new location.

1. Click on the apple icon in the top left and choose system preferences and then networks. Click on combo box next to location (might say automatic)
2. Add a new location
3. In the Show: menu, go to Network Port Configurations
4. Make sure your network either airport and ethernet is selected.
5. Drag Ethernet to the top of the list
6. Click Apply

Try webpage again. Let me know how it goes
