my itunes doesnt play the song i bought from the i store,

my itunes doesn't play the song i bought from the i store, and my itunes says that the cd driver isn't reconized, i did uninstall itunes and reinstalled it still the same

These are two different issues..

Lets focus on getting itunes to recognize your cd drive first.. Try this as a first step.

Go to the link below.

on the page that comes up. click on the green run now box.
It will start a file download ( this file is perfectly safe as its directly from microsoft)

Once you download the file, make sure to run the file..

It will run a dignostic program that will attempt to repair and fix your drive

after words, close itunes.. restart the computer, then start itunes. Can it recognize your cd drive now?
