i am trying to set up my new macbook pro by using migration

Resolved Question:

i am trying to set up my new macbook pro by using migration assistant to transfer all the data from my old macbook pro. I connected the two computers with a firewire. The new computer finds the old computer but the old computer can't seem to find the new computer. I just get a spinning circle saying looking for computer. What do I do?

You need to apply the new update for Migration Assistant on your old Mac running Snow Leopard. Download and install this update on your old Mac (10.6.8) :

Then restart the Mac and try Migration Assistant. Let me know if that didn't worked. Only click Accept after it worked.
