when I attempt to open safari... I get the message..... Safari browser version you are using does not support the community toolbar...

What do I need to do ?

No... it will not open... it will run the colored wheel until I force quit.... I cannot open any web searches

Remove a "Community Toolbar" x Safari

1 Open the Finder application and browse to Applications.
2 Scroll down to Toolbars and click on Toolbar Name
3 Double-click on “Uninstall”.
4 Fill in the “User name & Password” and click the OK button.

OK go Macintosh HD / Users / yourusername / Library / Internet Plugins do you see it there if so trash it then try Safari.

Do you have Firefox or any other browser installed?

You can download it to the laptop and put it on a USB stick or something to install on the other computer.
