How do I find the Safari program on my computer so that I can bring the sign to my screen?

Hello, my name is Dan.
I will do my best to help you, the only stupid question is the unasked one.
Safari lives in the Applications folder, you can access that on the hard drive or in your home folder (small house with your name).
It looks like this,
Or you can use Spotlight, that is the magnifying glass looking thing in the upper right corner of the screen.

Once you have found it then I suggest placing it in the dock. It may already be there and you did not see it.
This will show you how to put it in the dock better than me typing it in.
