In Windows, if I saved a Word document as a PDF it reduced the size of the document considerably. When I do so on my Mac, it increases it (from 14 mb to 22mb). Any ideas?
Hi My name isXXXXX hope i can help you.

May be the Word is exporting it in highest quality in uncompressed format. You can easily reduce the size of the PDF file with Mac Preview application. Open the PDF file in Preview application, click on File menu and select Save As. Then select “Reduce File Size” from “Quartz Filter” and click Save button
This should reduce the size of the PDF file.
