I'm trying to use my scanner. Each time I try I get the message that I haven't installed the software for scanning. Where do I get that?

Hello, my name isXXXXX will stay with you until the problem is resolved.
I need to know what version of OS X you have and the make/model scanner it is.

JACUSTOMER-q4753g68- :

I really don't know. I have a macbook pro that I bought about a year and three months ago. The printer/scanner is a canon MP480

JACUSTOMER-q4753g68- :

OK

Daniel :

The way to find out what the MacBook Pro is is to click on the Apple in the upper left corner and select "About This Mac", looks like this.

OK. It says I am OS x 10.6.4 Is that what I need?

JACUSTOMER-q4753g68- :

And I think the Processor is 2.26 GHz, Intel core 2

Daniel :

That's it.Canon U.S.A. : Support & Drivers : PIXMA MP480 you want the very first one in this list, download and install that and I think your scanner will work just fine.

JACUSTOMER-q4753g68- :
