Well, you can install Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard but not to 10.6 Snow Leopard, because Snow Leopard requires and Intel Machine. So installLeopard, Just buy the Leopard Retail Disks, put it into your Mac and follow the onscreen instructions to upgrade

I'd also recommend you to upgrade RAM to 1GB or more for good performance. You can buy RAM from here
