Second attempt Eudora became corrupted somehow. Tried to

Customer Question

Second attempt:
Eudora became corrupted somehow.
Tried to load a new copy in paid mode as before.
Began by trashing Eudora files
Some residue must have remained
New Eudora will not successfully open.
Is there an "uninstall" program to remove all Eudora pieces to allow a fresh download?

Well, no, there is no unistaller.

Delete the 'Eudora Application Folder' from your Applications folder (or wherever you installed it)

Delete the 'Eudora Folder' from your Documents folder (be sure as this is all your data so if your reinstalling you may just want to move this to your desktop!)

Delete ~/Library/Application Support/Eudora

That is it. Eudora does not install any sort of kernel extensions, etc

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
What do you mean with ~/library/application support/eudora? Where is it?

We've been away for a few days and now will try again.

The ~/library means the library folder under your user folder in mac os x sorry i should have explained that better

We've been away for a few days. That's why I've not been chasing this business until Sunday 11th and now the 12th.

Don't fully understand the answer. Where is '~/library/application support/eudora'? I'm not going to go after a new download until I have more confidence that all past Eudora stuff has been removed.
