I have purchased many songs on i tunes a while back - they are showing on my purchases in the account - I just got a new i pod - how do I get the songs back in my library since I purchased them. I have tried everything...

Do you have the songs on your computer or are they just on the old ipod?

Neither - i had to download i tunes again on this computer as I do not have the old computer with me. I see the songs and games listed in the purchase history, but cannot get them to show any where else - I lost the old i pod....

I hate to give you this answer but unfornately you cannot redownload the songs. Apps you can but songs you cannot. Apple has the info here.
