Hello and welcome to JustAnswer - I'm John.

You have a couple of options here. You can either download/install Flip4Mac (free) for Safari or get Firefox or other alternative web browsers (Firefox is free) that may already have everything required for you to view the websites you wish to visit. Please note that after installing Flip4Mac, you may need to restart your Mac before it will work properly.

For Flip4Mac for Safari, please visit this page:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/wmcomponents.mspx

To obtain Firefox, please visit this page:
http://www.mozilla.com/products/download.html?product=firefox-3.6.6&os=osx&lang=en-US

If the information I've provided meets with your approval and resolves your issue, please let me know and you can Accept the answer (and if possible, leave positive feedback). I downloaded Flip4Mac and at the end said "installed successful" or something like that, BUT still get the sam message:
The page “Canal 2TV en Vivo” has content of MIME type “application/x-oleobject”. Because you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type, this content can’t be displayed.
I am going to try downloading Mozilla and let you know.
Ok. Additionally, you can download VLC which is also free, then open the stream from within VLC (command+n and paste URL from stream).

You can get VLC here:

I tried Firefox and get the stream for a few seconds but then it stops. I am going to see if VLC does the trick. We'll let you know. Thanks for sticking with it.
No problem. Please let me know what VLC does. Remember to choose File->Open Network Stream or use the keyboard shortcut command+n to open the same window, then paste the <http://URL-to-stream-address> within the URL field to test it.

John

Finally, I am able to connect using either Safari and Firefox. I uninstalled the Flip4Mac and reinstalled again. Thanks for the help.
No problem, glad you got it resolved. I'll go ahead and close the question for you.

Best of luck to you in the future,
John

Hopefully Brazil wins the world's soccer championship and all this effort will be worthwhile.
