i cannot get into itunes because my computer quicktime version…

i cannot get into itunes...
i cannot get into itunes because my computer quicktime version 7.6.2 is now installed, itunes requiers quicktime version 7.6.4. my computer is telling me to uninstall itunes, then install itunes again. how do i remedy the situation? my computer is not a mac.

2- Click HELP then click "Check for Updates"

3- Download and install the updates

Thank u for answer, but everytime I try to open iTunes, the computer will not allow the it to open. I cannot open it. Ur answer tells me to, so other options do I have? Thanks, XXXXX XXXXX I'm not so computer savy, so forgive me.

Ok, please follow ALL the steps below in order to uninstall and reinstall itunes :-)

1- Restart the computer BUT PLEASE FIRST BOOKMARK THIS PAGE SO YOU CAN COME BACK WITH ME AFTER THE RESTART.

2- Go to Start, Control Panel, Uninstall programs, and uninstall the following apps:
-Bonjour
-Apple Mobile Device Support
-Apple Software Support
-iTunes
-QuickTime

3- Download "windows install cleanup" tool. Go to
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301, scroll down and click on "Download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility package now" to download and install this tool

4- When running the utility, remove the following apps:
-Bonjour
-Apple Mobile Device Support
-Apple Software Support
-iTunes
-QuickTime

5- Choose "remove" for each one. (do not remove other apps, just those 5 applications)

6- Then restart the computer BUT PLEASE FIRST BOOKMARK THIS PAGE SO YOU CAN COME BACK WITH ME AFTER THE RESTART.

7- Now go to http://www.apple.com/itunes/download, download and install iTunes again.

Your data will not be deleted.
