I don't know if I have an account with Mobile Me. I've never heard of it.
Mac Support Specialist: Ashik, Mac Technician replied 8 years ago
If you don't know it, you might not have it. Because you have to pay a yearly fee for Mobile Me. Okay..then who is your email provider ? Or What is the postfix of your email address (like @gmail.com, @yahoo.com etc) ?

Google is your email provider. Follow the steps below to setup email with Apple mail.
  1. Open Apple Mail.
  2. Click Mail, and select Preferences...
  3. Open the Accounts tab, and click the plus sign (+) along the bottom to add a new account.
  4. Enter name, email address, and password
  5. Enter your name in the Full Name: field.
  6. Enter your Gmail address in the Email Address: field.
  7. Enter your Gmail password XXXXX the Password: field.
  8. Check the box next to Automatically set up your account.
  9. Click on Create.
  10. Now you're done! All your Mail should be downloaded into your Inbox.

Let me know if that worked or not...

Best Regards,
Ashik

What Customers are Saying:

Hi John, Thank you for your expertise and, more important, for your kindness because they make me, almost, look forward to my next computer problem. After the next problem comes, I'll be delighted to correspond again with you. I'm told that I excel at programing. But system administration has never been one of my talents. So it's great to have an expert to rely on when the computer decides to stump me. God bless, Bill
