There is excel for the Mac but since you are dealing with windows macros, I would advise on the following:

You have a few options. Assuming you do not want to restart your machine to use excel for windows (

There are two options. Software called Parallels and Vmware Fusion.

In addition to this you will need a copy of windows and Office for windows

Either parallels or vmware will work pretty good. I have used them both.

Let me know if this helps

Hi Tom,

Sorry clicked wrong button. I have other questions. Thank you for your answer. Just to clarify your answer..are you saying I will need 3 soft ware, namely parellels or Vmware

as well as a copy of both Windows and Windows For Windows.?

If so can I use and existing copy[disk] which I may have for my existing computers..both operate off Windows xp Or do I have to buy new software discs assuming that I do purchase anew Apple Notebook which I am considering?

Hope I have not confused you Tom.

Tom Sorry correction to previous email that was supposed to be "Office for Windows" not Windows for Windows.

You may use a retail copy of windows xp but if the windows XP came with a computer that you bought then chances are that it will only work with that vendor. ie. Dell ships windows XP disks with their computers but it will only install on Dell computers.

Correct, you will need 3 pieces of software:

parallels/vmware, windows xp, office for windows
