Customer Question

Hi, My macbook keeps freezing up. It has 'frozen' at a regular time (8:15 am) every day and now it seems to be doing it more frequently. Any ideas?

Thank you, Ann

Go to the Apple logo on the upper left of the screen and tell me the System Version, the Processor and the Memory.

Go to System Preferences / Energy Saver and click Restore Defaults.

Then go to Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility. Open Disk Utility and select your hard drive on the left. On the right click Verify Disk. If that is OK click on Repair Permissions.

Let me know if that helps.

I am verifying the disk, but I have an appointment and have to leave for a couple of hours. May I check back with you later? I will have to repair permissions at that time.
