I just installed Adobe photoshop CS4 but I can not open I photo

I just installed Adobe photoshop CS4 but I can not open I photo library,it grays it out,
Would you please help me.

What version of iphoto are you using?

When in iphoto click on iphoto in the top left and choose about iphoto. It will tell you the version number there

I did some research on the web and talked to the expert at at the apple store while I was waiting for your response. I have come to understand that I photo is a proprietary photo editing program. The adobe photoshop CS4 is not configured to interface with the I photo library. I need to either make copy of the pictures and put them in different folder outside the library or import the pictures directly into photoshop. My problem have solved, do I still need to pay you?

In Iphoto you can click on Iphoto in the top left and choose Preferences

Click on the General Tab

Under Edit Photo, change it to Photoshop

Now whenever you click on Edit in Iphoto the picture will open in Photoshop. I use this feature a lot.
