If the ? mark is blinking the firmware update was likely succesful. Do you have an OS X installation disc?

You inserted the OS installation disc and started up holding "c" and it won't boot?

i dont have OS disc i burnt data disc with frmware restore from apple website

You're going to need to get your hands on an OS X disc. You can also try booting up the computer and holding the "option" key to see if that allows you to select your hard drive as a boot disc. We might also try a PRAM reset. Here is the procedure:

Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
