My son is 11 years old and a student at school lock his i pod touch and we do not know the pass word. what can we do

Just connect your iPod to your Computer and open iTunes. Then sync it and it will reset the password.

If you didn't used iTunes with your iPod yet, don't sync because it will erase all the contents of your iPod.

Thanks for Accepting my answer. If that didn't worked, then give this a try.

If you still have problems, you can restore your iPod. Connect your iPod to your computer and open iTunes. Select your iPod under Devices tab and click the Restore button. This will restore your iPod. After restoration completed, iTunes will automaically asks you to use your iPod as a new or to restore from backup. So choose "Restore from backup" and choose your iPod's backup file. iTunes will automatically restore your contents into iPod.
Or resync it after restoring it.
