I have a powerbook G4 Mac running OS X 10.3.9 I would like to upgrade to OS X 10.5.7 but am not sure how to do that. Please advise

Do you have Mac OS X Disk 10.5.x ? (x=any number)

No I don't have the OS X disk but am willing to purchase or download if necessary

Let me know when you have a OS disk 10.5.x.

It's very easy, just insert a disk and follow the on screen insturctions and you are done. After upgrading OS X, you can install latest OS X updates.

Are you using any special programs on this mac or just using for internet and stuff?
