My iphone screen keeps blacking out, even though I have a full

My iphone screen keeps blacking out, even though I have a full battery. What is going on?

Restore it. It may have a bad software OS loaded and we can just replace with a new copy.

Connect the iPhone to your Mac/PC.
When iTunes opens, and you see the device on the left side, click once on the name and then go to the Summary tab.

Click on Restore button.

Follow the directions and make sure to NOT unplug it at anytime until it says Restore complete.

Disconnect it and test to see if it fixed the problem.

You may need to re-check some apps and settings in iTunes to get the iPhone exactly as it was before, but nothing will be lost, especially if you do backups regularly into iTunes.
