I am new to owning my own Mac, but have used one for years at work. I bought a used G5 and has worked fine all month until now. Last night I noticed it going into Sleep mode and I couldn't stop it nor bring it out of sleep mode. I just turned it back on and the same thing seems to happen. It won't wakeup. - what I can do?

When did you last do software updates?
Have you noticed any other symptoms like sluggish performance?
Can you tell me the processor speed?

I haven't added any updates. But did download some apps yesterday. Adobe Acrobat reader. Flash player. I don't know the processor speed but this unit ws used for video and graphics before so it has good speed. Didn,t really notice sluggishness.
