Would need to know what version of iPhoto you have, what specific Mac this is, speed/memory/graphics card, etc and finally the OS X version you have.

These are important as some themes simply will not run on certain hardware/software combinations.

Let me know,

I have a MacBook Pro running leopard X.5.( I'm not entirely sure which version of Leopard X I have?) The CPU speed is: 2.16 MHZ with 2GB of DDR2 SDRAM

OK, good!

Now, what version of iPhoto so I can pinpoint the themes that are compatible.

I am using iphoto '08

Ok, Great.

Now that I have looked around, including docs I have about iPhoto itself, I can't find anything out there except references to the themes included.

I know they are XML based and have some coding involved and there was a discussion about editing/modifying the original themes using BBEdit or another XML editor.

But I cannot find anyone who has any or any discussions about replacing them with others.

Strange, but that's what I came up with.
