Cannot get my mobileme to operate. Says the code is already

Cannot get my mobileme to operate.
Says the code is already used even though it is brand new
Family plan.
Have vista on big desktop and
XP on smaller Sony all-in-one.

Not sure where you bought that from, but it should not give you that message.

I would call Apple or the store where purchased and make sure they gave you a new copy.

Also, if bought online, was the box sealed when you received it? If not, someone opened it, stole the code and then sent it on to you.

We are not Apple so I cannot help you. It will have to be resolved through the dealer where purchased or through Apple.
