Two news urls that I have used for years cannot now for the past two weeks be accessed. I have tried three different browsers, cleared the cache, run disk utility. contacted by service provider, etc. Still no answer. Following are the two urls: and

The only explanation I can think of is the DNS service that you are using. DNS = Domain Name System, Internet system to translate names into IP addresses.
To test this theory click on this link which is the IP address of

You can see how your DNS is set in SYSTEM PREFERENCES - NETWORK. The DNS is listed under your own IP address. This DNS is assigned to you from your Internet Provider. You can also use OPEN DNS by visiting this site
