How do I change the print setting on my Mac so it automatically

This answer was rated:

How do I change the print setting on my Mac so it automatically defaults to grayscale? Currently I can only work out how to change it each time I go to print by going to the "paper type/ quality" option under the print drop down. Thanks
Open the print dialog box. Change the settings you want. Click to the right of where it says Presets: "Standard", select Save As. Choose a name. This will save your settings, and they will be available every time you print.
The print dialog box is a function of the driver so your might be a little different.
