i have a new (less than one year) imac. when i open emails that are mpeg it will play them. however, if they are wmv or pps attachments they will open on text edit and show up as jibberish text without any pictures or video. is there a way to adjust this
You need the software player to open video files. You have the player for MPEG but not for others. Quicktime is the most useful. If you are on Mac you probably have it. If not you can get it at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
Then get FLIP4MAC to play WMV (Windows Media Video) at http://dynamic.telestream.net/downloads/downloads.asp
That should solve it.
