i cant get my intel mac pro to boot from the os x partition.

i can't get my intel mac pro to boot from the os x partition. it only boots from the windows partition even when holding option key

I can't say this helped as it turned out to be a bad USB hub that was losing connection to the keyboard hence not allowing the drive to open. Thanks for the attempt though.
