Hi, I just bought my first imac, and have tried to install windows using the Boot Camp application. somehow, the partition did not work correctly, and i have now formatted the whole internal drive to windows. I have now managed to re-boot my imac with the installation disks using an external drive, but when i go into Disk utility to format the internal drive back to mac it wont let me.. the buttons i need are greyed out. can you help????

Hi Steve,

What you have done is format the HD completely in windows format, which the mac does not recognize
So you are going to need to format the HD in windows to FAT 32,wiping the windows install.
reinstall Mac OS 10.5 then partition the Mac OS again with boot camp,
