I am trying to install a hp deskjet 940c on my mac osX . this

I am trying to install a hp deskjet 940c on my mac osX . this was working perfectly and then i tried to install another printer..had problems installing and now this printer doesn't work.. may have trashed the old deskjet printer accidentally. so now tried to reinstall and it says can't install need classic environment. how do i get to classic environment on my os x

Lets try re-adding the printer manually, without using the installer disk.

With your DeskJet plugged into your Mac and turned on, I'd like you to do the following:

1) Go to Apple menu>System Preferences...
2) Click Print & Fax
3) Click the "+" icon
4) Select your pinter in the list (it should show up), select an appropriate driver, and click Add
