I can not connect to the internet through an ethernet connection

Customer Question

I can not connect to the internet through an ethernet connection with my MacBook. I am in France for 7 months and the ethernet connection does not recognize a connection. When another PC is connected, it connects without any problem.

My guess is you are not getting DNS information from the router.

Can you go to an IP Address like:
17.112.152.32

Apple.com US

If you can get there, it is a DNS problem.

Let me know,
Mike
