Customer Question

I have just had to replace my HD on my Powerbook G4. I have everything back running except I cannot seem to restore my old emails, address book and Safari Bookmarks. I have a backup of my Home folder - so this info should be saved (yes?). How do I update my new HD with this info?

Can you try just copying all the files from your home folder into your new home folder and tell it to replace duplicates.

This most likely will restore everything as it was before, if it doesn't work, let me know and we can go through your home folder and find specific files to transfer.

How exactly do I do that? I have tried just dragging and dropping the old Home folder into the new - but there are no options to "replace duplicates" this way.
