I have a mac mini, OS X 10.4.11... I have a folder "Previous System' which is over 8 gig large. Is it OK to move that folder to my external storage drive, and thus clear more space on my HD?
Yes, that just is a storage file keeping files from when you upgraded. In fact, if after you move it, you find that you never use anything from it, you could delete it.
