Mine has 3 fastener at the bottom. This diagram shows one. The diagram doesn't reflect my unit
Lexus Mechanic: David Craig, Auto Mechanic replied 6 months ago

then it should slide right out. Ill open this up to the others.

It is a 96. Does the 95 or 97 show a 3 bolt holder on the bottom. I think it was built toward end of 96. I just like to have a diagram Thanks for your help
Lexus Mechanic: David Craig, Auto Mechanic replied 6 months ago

Ok, you have another bracket at the top of the ECU that will need to be removed. You will need to remove the glove box in order to gain access to the top bracket. Once you remove the bracket the ECU will drop down and you can remove it.

Ask Your Own Lexus Question
Customer reply replied 6 months ago
Already remove glove box The other years had 1 on bottom and two on top This has three on bottom
This is a Scotty Kilmer video of the bracket

Lexus Mechanic: Marty, ASE Certified Technician replied 6 months ago

But if your ECU does not wobble around with the lower bracket loosened there has to be one on the top. See if you can run your hand up and over the top to feel the bracket.
