Replaced the hid bulb on my 2002 Lexus es300 and it burned out when I turned on the lights.

Mechanic's Assistant: Just to clarify, what are the exact lights you're talking about?

Head light on the right side.

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your GS300 yourself? What have you tried so far?

Es300

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Replaced headlight assembly with ballast replaced the hid bulb with a new one, when I truned in the headlights the bulb blew out.

No voltage ate the power plug on the right side low beam. Checked the left side low beam and I have 12 V. The plug looks good no damage.

Found the problem no fuse. Over looked the fuse placement for LB. Thanks for your help!!!

who took it out as there are fuses for both sides ?

I have no idea, I bought the car from a individual. One of the first things I checked was the fuse when I noticed the light was out. I don’t know how I over looked the fact that the fuse was missing. So it wasn’t the bulb or the ballast, just a missing fuse. So now I have an extra bulb and ballast. I am set!!!!
