after flooding damage and cleaning all spark plugs wells Lexus 2001 Rx 300 - the engine want turn to remove water from cylinders. The battery looks good as all the lights, headlights and horn woks fine. The car was flooded and the water was up to wheel wells. When try to blow the cylinders, there is no response at all except clicking sound.The dash board lights up with all lights. Please HELP.
JA: Have you checked the fuses? The dashboard bulbs?
Customer: No. That was my next step, tomorrow
JA: Are you fixing your RX 300 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Dried off all the interior,charged the battery,washed off the bottom with power hose, removed all the plugs and coils and vacuumed all the plug wells to remove as much water as possible before blowing the cylinders. Wehn tied to turn the cylinders, there is NO cranking at all.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: The engine behaves like Dead Battery. But I all ready charged it and and its only a year old.I an a victim the recent Hurricane in Houston. Thanks
