I will try to assist on this issue here
Thick White smoke : 1- Engine overheating 2-blown head gaskette 3-Cracked engine block
The lack of power is an issue ,could be caused by several reasons by compression test will be a start ,Also pull oil dipstick out does it look milky , is oil & coolant mixing
Or is the white smoke light more like a valve stem issue and smoke goes away after you Rev up or take off ?
Where spark plugs wet with oil or gas ,or they were dry
