Customer Question

Hi my fob for a Lexus IS 250 model 2008 is not working. I thought it's remote had run out of battery and I replaced it with a new one but it has refused. It's not even opening the doors
JA: Have you tested the battery? Is the battery fluid low?
Customer: I have bought a new one
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I am hoping to fix it myself
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: I just got the car today and it's new so I don't know how to go around it
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Lexus Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.
Customer: But it can start

If the battery goes dead then after replacing the battery you need to reprogram the

Sadly not like the older models this could be done by the owners .the newer models like yours has to be done with diagnostic

scan tool or fob and key programmers .
