hi i have a lexus ls430 2004,after fail code p0031 oxygen sensor replaced bank 1 sensor 1 by toyota dealer.ok. after 10km i have new p0051 fail code bank2 sensor 1. wtf? bad fuse? or?.... thanks

Hello and thank you for your question,The common cause for the code to set is in most cases due to a failing Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 Sensor 1 . It not uncommon for both to fail once one has failed. T he B2S1 is on the passenger side of the engine. You can verify the resistance of the O2 sensor heater is 11-16 ohms at room temperature. If the resistance is not correct, replace the O2 sensor. There really is nothing else that will cause this code to set besides a bad HO2S sensor.
