Lexus RX300: My brake lights suddenly stopped working on my

Customer Question

My brake lights suddenly stopped working on my 2001 lexus rx300.

Already Tried:
changing all bulbs, checking brake light switch, check relays, check fuses

I would like to replace the taillamp sensor as suggested at but I am not certain where the sensor is located or exactly what it looks like.

I looked in the left rear quarter panel behind the interior panel and I didn't see any electronics.

Can someone please tell me what it looks like or how to locate it in the vehicle.
