I have a 2000 Lexus GS300. The vsc button does nothing when

I have a 2000 Lexus GS300. The vsc button does nothing when pressed. I have no traction conrol ever. The VSC dash light bulb is ok. Also the abs is not not functioning. Could it be a ecu problem? if so where are all aplicable ecu's located in the car? I would hugely appreciate any help. Thank You in advance.

No, the button is non responsive.

yes it has been checked, it is plugged in. There is no traction control ever.

Do you have a way to pull codes from the computer? If there are any stored.

Yes, this could be an ECU problem. The VSC OFF button is just a switch to ground for the computer which when pressed, the computer turn off the VSC. Either that circuit is faulty or the computer is.

 

if so where are all aplicable ecu's located in the car?

We can list them all but that won't help us at this point. The first step is to use a scantool and see what if any codes are stored. You can also check and see if all the fuses are good(both under the hood and the lower dash)
