    Hello, I had a former customer claim they were going to file suit against a company that I used to own. I gave the information to my attorney at the time and after months of no action on their part, and conversations between my attorney and theirs, he told me that their attorney recommended they drop the suit and didn't think anything would come of it.
    JA: What state are you in? It matters because laws vary by location.
    Customer: This is a South Carolina matter
    JA: What steps have you taken so far?
    Customer: I'm an expert witness and during a trial last month learned that not only had they filed suit, but that they also obtained a judgement against the company and me personally. I closed the business down last year after my oldest son had to step away for medical reasons, moved to Florida to help care for him and he died on May 22nd.
    JA: Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.

    Customer: none they said they moved money there for me to transfer to my account. I think it maybe a Facebook scam. I was contacted by a Bill Millicent thru Messenger. Got an email but have not opened the link

    I am getting sued by a credit card for a debit from 2013. I am 66 yrs old living off very little SS,590$ a month. I have no money saved and I have many health issues and taking 8 meds.They want me to go to court. I am not working nor can I. What are my options? Thank you for your help
