My girl friends father bought a truck for us to use mutually. I was the main driver of the truck because she did not have a license. . The title and registration is in their names. She insured it and payments come out of her bank account. The truck broke down and is inoperable. My girl friend and I have since ended our relationship. Her father is trying to collect payment for the personal loan from me. I live in the state of ny. Can they require me to pay the balance on the personal loan for the inoperable truck? We have nothing in writing stating who is financially responsible to pay his personal loan.

Hi my name is***** would like to ask a questions about quickclaim deed‘s. And what I’m trying to do is create a document that my wife can sign giving me my house 100% and her not having any interest in it whatsoever. The house was mine and purchased by me before our marriage. And I would like to create a document and in this document I would like it to say that we are now have a legal separation, and that she does not hold any interest in my house whatsoever. And I’m not sure how to do this or what it should say.
One reason I wanna do this is because last year she came over to the house we’ve been separated and haven’t lived together since December 6 of 2020. But she came over to the house and called the police trying to get me arrested and once I was taken away she was going to get a restraining order on me and try to seize the house. And I want to make sure that doesn’t happen again. Because she probably will be back in the house for a couple of days before she goes off to a drug rehabilitation treatment facility. And I just need to protect my house from her. And it all to be legal. So I want to create this document and then I guess I need to get notarized have her sign in front of a notary at a bank I guess is the way it’s done.
