I have questions surrounding the Families First Act and how
I have questions surrounding the Families First Act and how it will impact my small business. I own a small behavioral healthcare business with 8 employees plus myself. I see the act exempts healthcare companies, but cannot find the definition of healthcare for this act to know if behavioral health (we provide therapy for children with autism) is included. (Furloughed meaning they are not receiving their hourly pay, but I am still paying their health benefits.). Thanks for any guidance! Trying to help our employees out as much as we can, understand this act, and not go bankrupt is overwhelming! … read more
