What is the fee for this. This is about ss benefits at 62. I
I began working at 14 years old.. for 1.00 per hour. I'm now just turned 61. Began working in 1975 for a little above minimum wage..worked every year full time until 1994. My income grew but never made more than around 24,000. Went self employed in 1994..got into tax trouble right away. Lost my home a year ago in foreclosure one I owned since 1992. I've worked as a courier self employed and still doing this. I have not been paying taxes..I sent the IRS 5,000 at one time for a refinance on the home. My income on the courier is around 19,000 after I pay expenses, mileage and so on. I'm thinking the last printed statement I received was I had paid 38,000 into SS that was probably 7 or 8 years ago. I've not filed taxes in several years..probably since Obamacare went into effect..just kinda gave up. Biggest question is..can back taxes keep me from received early retirement at 62..and does it sound like I will be eligible for benefits at 62 based on my work history? … read more
