Dear Customer ,

Thank You for posting your legal question in this difficult time for your you and your family.

In law the utility bills need to be transferred to the new occupier of the home or where there is none into the executor's name.

While sometimes people do forget to transfer the bills the legally correct practice is to transfer the account.

We are here to help.

It worked great. I had the facts and I presented them to my ex-landlord and she folded and returned my deposit. The 50 bucks I spent with you solved my problem.
