i signed a stipulation settlement with nys dept of labor in 2015. i did not admit to any wrong doing re claims by employees that they were not paid-they weren't-however, i was not the principal, the company was being sold and i was the last man standing.. i was to pay $15,000 as settlement-n not the claimed $50,000;however, i can't pay the settlement amount n they are coming after me-i did not have a lawyer when i signed-i can't afford to pay ,but i hope i can get help to fight dept of labor ,thanks
