My daughter passed away on 7/16 she was in a common law marriage but I didn't think so. How does the state determine if they were indeed married.
JA: How long have you continuously lived together?
Customer: Probably 12 or more years but she would write a check to him for 750.00 each month in the memo it said rent.
JA: Has anything been filed or reported?
Customer: As far as through the court
